Description

This course details the mobility challenges faced by toddlers who are blind and severely visually impaired, examines the effects these challenges have on sensorimotor and global development, and introduces the Wearable Toddler Cane as a developmentally appropriate solution. The instructor introduces and defines the terms mobility with a visual impairment and next step warning. Through video learning  the instructor illustrates how to conduct next step warning assessments to identify children who can benefit from using a Wearable Toddler Cane.
